We’re a collection of pet resort owners and professionals across finance, HR, operations, and pet services that have come together to build something greater than the sum of its parts. For us, pets are family, and we believe they should have top tier service providers working together to ensure the highest quality of care.
In 2018, our founders Azhar Quader and Eyal Cohen worked to build a 14 unit veterinary and pet services company across New York City and Denver. Azhar teamed up with the founding veterinarians to build a platform where he raised capital, recruited executives, implemented top tier financial reporting, acquired multiple locations, and built new locations, and raised capital. Eyal joined NVA as their Director of Acquisitions in North America, where he supported their growth. He learned both the good and the bad of how a large organization like NVA buys and supports pet resorts.
After several years, they wanted to take those learnings, focus on pet resort businesses and pet services, and do it again. So the gang got back together and Pet Resort Hospitality Group was born.
They knew they could build a company of top independent brands with great corporate support, and it could transform the pet care industry. So in 2023, they set out on a mission to partner with 6 leading Pet Resorts across the US and created Pet Resort Hospitality Group. Today, they’ve partnered with some of the leading pet resorts in America. They’re giving these operators a leg up on the competition through marketing, hiring, HR, finance, and operational support. Above all, they’re caring for thousands of pets every day, improving their lives and the lives of their parents.
