Pet Resort Hospitality Group Expands Paws ‘n’ Rec Footprint in Northwest Arkansas with Acquisition of DogWatch

Pet Resort Hospitality Group, in partnership with Trivest Partners and Queens Court Capital, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of DogWatch Doggie Daycare & Boarding, with two locations in Fayetteville and Bentonville, Arkansas. As part of the transition, both locations will be rebranded as Paws ‘n’ Rec, marking a significant expansion of one of PRHG’s most dynamic and community-focused brands in the Northwest Arkansas region.

This move follows the successful launch of Paws ‘n’ Rec – Regional Airport, a state-of-the-art pet resort near the Northwest Arkansas National Airport. It represents PRHG’s commitment to growing in vibrant communities with strong demand for premium pet care. This marks Paws ‘n’ Rec’s 6th and 7th locations and PRHG’s 29th and 30th.

For over two decades, DogWatch has been a trusted name among local pet parents, known for its warm, dependable service and dedicated team. By joining PRHG and adopting the Paws ‘n’ Rec brand, DogWatch’s team will gain access to new resources and best-in-class systems, while continuing to deliver the same high-quality, personalized care that families have come to love.

“We’re incredibly proud of nearly 25 years of dedicated care and commitment DogWatch has provided to the pet community of Northwest Arkansas,” said Hermine Wilkins, co‑owner of DogWatch. “Joining the PRHG family allows us to maintain the personal, loving environment we’ve built, while offering our team and clients access to even richer programs, amenities, and a wider network of support.” DogWatch was supported by Resolution Equity Partners in the transaction.

“This is an exciting chapter for PRHG and Paws ‘n’ Rec,” said Jason Duffy, CEO of Pet Resort Hospitality Group. “DogWatch has built an incredible reputation in Northwest Arkansas, and we’re honored to build on that legacy by bringing the energy and innovation of Paws ‘n’ Rec to even more local pet parents.”

Paws ‘n’ Rec is known for its daycare membership model, vibrant brand personality, and community involvement. With the rebrand, families in Fayetteville and Bentonville will now have access to expanded offerings, modernized amenities, and the support of a growing national network, while continuing to see the familiar faces they trust.

Pet Resort Hospitality Group now operates 30 pet resorts nationwide, serving over 2,500 pets daily with a dedicated team of more than 800 professionals. The company continues to pursue strategic growth opportunities while supporting each of its locations with best-in-class operational expertise, technology, and back-office support.
